The Joyful Art of Thomas Rowlandson

Thomas Rowlandson (13 July 1756 – 21 April 1827) was an English artist and caricaturist. The women he depicts often look young and fresh, the opposite goes for the men in his works. As a rule, they are extra fat, or extremely skinny and mostly old and ugly. This is a solid concept in pornography. By degrading the men depicted, it is much easier for the male viewers to project themselves into the fantasy.
